‘Green Book’ Words…
‘What a shame that this has happened and a shame that she has burned out of the insides, that she had looked after so carefully for all these years. All they can say to her now is ‘let it burn, let it burn’. Let the flesh fall from the bones’.
‘Without warning the back of her head exploded, out of it came all the twisted thoughts, blood and cells. There was no saving her at this point anyway’.
‘It seemed after all that life afforded surprises for the dead and burned. But she battled on and held her hand over the gushing shit and insides that escaped from her head. Such a shame’.
‘All teeth and posturing.’
words…
‘Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting’ Daniel 5-27
‘There I lay, wearing dead people as armor against death’ The Gargoyle, Andrew Davidson
‘Through me you go into the city of weeping,
Through me you go into eternal pain
Through me you go among the lost people
Justice is what moved my exalted Maker;
I was the invention of the power of God,
Of his wisdom and of his primal love.
Before me there was nothing that was created
Except eternal things; I am eternal:
No room for help when you enter this place.’
Dante, Inferno-Canto 3
‘Débridement is the ripping apart of a person, the cutting away of as much as can possibly be endured. Technically it is removal of dead or contaminated tissue from a wound so that healthy skin may grow in its place’ The Gargoyle, Andrew Davidson.
‘We had already gone away from him,
When I saw two so frozen in one hole
That the head of one made headgear for the other;
And as in hunger people will gnaw bread,
So the one on top fixed his teeth in the lower one,
Just where the brain joins to the nape of the neck..’
Dante, Inferno
