Destroying her……..
Still working on the Destroying Her series of drawings. I feel sure that they will feed back into painting in time. For now I am concerned with the themes here and making sure that i am accurately representing that which is going on in my head. Theres some superficial stuff that i have touched on before e.g the horror of her condition, she has made such an effort to get here but ultimately she starts to degrade and its not always from natural causes. However its still easy to see me slipping back into old routines and habits concerning the drawing and my approach to it.
I will stop myself at 100 drawings – binge drawing-although at times exhilarating can also hinder development and experimentation.
