cy twombly at the tate

I always want more from an exhibition, and this was true of the limited retrospective at the tate. However I wasnt really disapointed. Its hard to feel cheated by the scale and energy of Twomblys paintings and although the Tate has some Twombly on perminant display its quite another experience to see his paintings grouped together. Twomblys work on paper adds another layer to the viewers experience of the paintings. Room 6 is a gift, as minimalism finds its way into Twomblys world.Impressive.

Obvious in a way, that it should be that which draws us together that would give us the name, by far the hardest thing to come up with so far. This one point is where everyone wants to get it right and give the right feel for an exhibition. I hope we have got this right.
